HER DECEIVED HEART

The rain poured from those skies so black
Her weeping heart broke at the thunders crack
The cold night air raced through her bones
As she shivered she sighed a tearful moan

Her thoughts were of him, wishing he was near
But it was her anger for him that she feared
The passion of want, to keep him close through the night
But for the hurt inside, her desire she had to fight

His look was of lust, yet his words were of love
A verse so tempting that it was her heart that he touched
She wished for an end to her days of solitary
So she falls for his words that were her fantasy

IF SINNERS ENTICE YOU

They say if sinners entice you
You should not consent
If they say come with us, let us lie in wait for blood
Let unwantonly ambush the innocent
Hold back your foot from their paths
For their feet run to evil
Wisdom cries aloud in the street to these people
But these men lie in wait for their own blood
They set an ambush for their own lives
Be assured, an evil man will not go unpunished
But those who are righteous will be delivered
The mercy of the wicked is cruel
A righteous man has regard for the life of his beast
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes
But a wise man listens to advise
