BLIND HEART

In those Sunday skies I stare for an answer
But those clouds were gray with rolling thunder
I could not see through the darkness of confusion
My eyes were tearful filled with illusions
My dreams had been shattered my hope was lost
I found comfort with a man I craved for with lust

He spoke the words I longed to hear
With his touch drove my excitement to fear
I wished for the world to be his and mine alone
Where the dangers of reality are no longer known
But stuck in a world where love is so blind
Where love is a word more suitable to rhymes

CHILD ALONE

Through the darkness the child walked alone
Into the world this child was thrown
No love in her life, no care in her heart
A lonely soul, from humanity she was apart

Wandering the world, for miles she walked
No sense of direction, between life and death she was caught
Her pale little face, her blood shot eyes
Told the story without the sound of her cries

Upon a meadow so green she did lay
Feeling so free, from reality she was away
She closed her eyes once more to dream
To dream that dream for all eternity
