ANCIENT GROUND

In the darkness of the night, under the moons shine
The forbidden river ran more sweetly than any rhyme
With forest branches, trodden weed
With old age shall this generation forever be
Those who trod on the ground before
Is emptied of folk, but their spirits still mourn
Through wood and dale the sacred river ran
Reached the mountains unmeasurable to man
The mountains and caves, a miracle of rare device
A sunny pleasure dome, caves of ice
The place was like a vision once saw
In the mind of a soldier, struggling through war
The birds would echo in a dome of air
And all who heard, shall see the forbidden river there

BLEEDING DESIRE

From his pride and cruelty
My bleeding heart around him flowed
As if he were blind completely
No feeling for me he showed

My heart broke with a load of love
I would die wishing and admiring
Floating in the skies high above
A slave from death you are removing

I could not see through a storm of tears
The hurt you caused made my wounds bleed
It was the temptation that I feared
Or it was the temptation that was my greed

I look in wonder for that loving smile
Just wishing for what I so desired
The walk to you seemed like a mile
Still my illusions are what I most admired

Through clouds of lies I try to see
A scent of affection from you to me
But like wrecks of a dissolving dream
This is a story that will never be
