TRUE LOVE

Far from reality, I float into space
When his lips become close to my face
With his arms around me I have nothing to fear
For him I cry one lovable tear
Sitting together, under shining moonlight
I wish to stay with all through the night
Hurt by love, in the past of broken hearts
This love is meant to be, that will never part

He whispers his words, softly in my ear
My heart melts whenever he is near
When his eyes stop and stare
I look away, nervously I caress my hair
He has bewitched me, stolen my love
I feel so helpless, like a caged dove
With him my days are filled with happiness
That wipes away my years of sadness

WALKING AWAY

Through wood and dale the sacred river ran
She wandered carelessly unmeasurable to man
Her tears were shed along the way
From visions of a love she once tried to save
Here heart was now torn, the pain did not leave
An eternity of suffering she feared her world would be

In a cave of darkness she wanted to hide
To be with her loneliness that hurt her inside
She closed her eyes to escape to a dream
But she saw only happiness ripped at the seams
The beauty of his face was now hidden by lies
Only echoes were left of her saddened cries

In the dark of the night, through wind and rain
She walked aimlessly with nothing to gain
It seemed so long since she held you last
But every opportunity she just let pass
Knowing that the moment would surely fade
Hating the fact that you would never stay
