THE LONELY MAN

The thunder rolls across the skies
The dark man waits with evil in his eyes
He only has a minder to murder
He only has a mind to crime
As he wanders through the sleepy towns
He awaits his next victim to arise

There is no purpose in the life he leads
Just to cause sadness, and darken beautiful dreams
There are few that think this man is loved
There are few that think him pleasant enough
What haunted thought quickened this mans step
As his smile evolves to an emotionless gleam

In this world there is no rest
To the witness of a thousand deaths
There is so much silence
There is so much darkness
And while the world lies quiet and still
The lonely man drags away his kill

TRUE FOREVER

Face to face, eye to eye
I will be forever by your side
Love eternal burning bright
Will lead me through the darkness of night
The memories of you in my mind
Send me lost, no knowledge of time
My love for you is strong and real
Pain when you go is what I feel

Mountains and valleys will drip sweet wine
When your lips are close to mine
The feelings just break in my heart
Whenever we are far apart
The moon will shine bright forever
As long as we stay together
The gods of the skies can all see
That our love is meant to be
