STOLEN INNOCENCE

A child of beauty and wealth
Brought up with respect and honor
Fed knowledge from the teachers
And love was what found her

War was declared on the world
Her parents lives were stolen
By the weapons of the enemy
Her place in high society had fallen

She wandered the streets and alleys
Stepping over every lifeless body
Her once pure face was smothered with dirt
The sun was what she followed

The sound of her lonely cries
Echoed through deserted towns
Not even a bird flew in the skies
Her once smiling heart turned to a painful frown

THE FALLEN PRIEST

He was driven to insanity
Beaten for confession
Accused of being unfaithful to Christ
Even if he was meant to be a pacificator

His life was solitary
He prayed for salvation
His son, thought guilty of being a demigod
Extinction of his own life was all that was left

They marked with the devils scar
They rubbed his name from the cloth
The place in which he dwelled was destroyed
His mind was full of wroth
