A CHILD WITHOUT A SMILE
They pick on me and laugh
At the state that I am in
They don't seem to recognize
That my mind is a human as them

The mortals all around me
Stop to look and stare
At my ruined and demented body
And talk as if I'm not there

I see things in a different light
Maybe a harder and lonelier way
I may be a mortifying being
Alone in my room is where I like to stay

Sometimes I think my world should end
As if suicide is the best way out
Why do people ignore and forget me
What is my life all about?

Friends are what I have least
Only doctors and family fuss over me
All I really want is a friend
So I can be as normal as he or she

A LOVERS THEME

With his beauty he puts on all his charms
My poor heart alone by him is harmed
From me he took his sighs and tears
From him I took my anger and fears
When on those lovely looks I gaze
I stop in wonder with feelings that amaze
His playful grin arouses my excitement
But saddened as for me his love is distant
This summer will die as quick as the last
I can only hope this moment does not as quickly pass

I watch you taunt the bleeding hearts around you
And understand why they love as I do
The evening setting was a blue as his eyes
The desire to hold him I could not disguise
Your boyish gestures I couldn't refuse
A demanding game I would surely loose
The rain fell fast in that forgotten spring
I cried then the tears I knew he would bring
